Josh Groban and the Emmy Awards

Monday, September 22, 2008
Alright, so I'm not a huge Josh Groban fan. I think he has an amazing voice, I just don't like the style of music really. What I want to know is why someone as popular and respected as Josh Groban would do something as silly as sing a compilation of TV theme songs at the Emmy awards. I was sitting watching the awards and I was astonished. I'll be honest, my respect for Josh Groban was lost a little.

Facial Hair And Fatherhood

Wednesday, June 11, 2008
This post has no real significance, but here we go.

For those of you who know me, you know I tend to be a rather hairy person. It's a family curse that I've had to live with. What that means is that I've been able to grow a significant amount of facial hair since I was about 14 years old. All through high school and college I've messed around with goatees and what finally making a permanent part of my "look."

Well ever since high school people have been bugging me to grow a beard, so I finally gave in and am going for it, we'll see how it goes. I figure with a baby girl coming in August, I need to get the dad look down, so now all I need is a backpack to carry my daughter and a stroller trailer for my bike and I'll be set. Ha, Izm so looking forward to being a dad.

Ok, so it's late and I can't sleep. What happens when it's late and I can't sleep, I sign up for silly things like twitter. With that said, if you have a twitter account add me if you don't and it's late, you're bored and have nothing to do like me, sign up for twitter and add me. My twitter site is www.twitter/stevegold.

Now I'm going to sleep before I sign up for any other silly accounts.

Thankful For What We Have

Tuesday, May 20, 2008
This was the sight of a house burning down close to my parents house on Sunday night. It made me think about how quickly a disaster can happen and how we need to be thankful for what we have and to invest in things that eternal, not material.
