Old Guy At The Gym and Goatees

So I was at the gym at the early time of 6:00 this morning and after I changed and was waiting for Heather to finish, this old guy that I see all the time, but have never seen him actually do anything except drink coffee and read the newspaper came up to me. He walked up, rubbed his chin and continued to say that he's noticed a lot of young guys that have a goatee without the mustache. We had a small conversation about why, my personal reasoning because I simply can't grow a mustache.

My short goatee conversation with the old guy at the gym got me to thinking about what people notice. In may case, the old guy at the gym noticed my goatee and it spurred something in his mind to the point where he wanted to have a conversation about it. My question is, what do people notice about you? Not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally also. What do people see in you and what are they thinking? Do our actions both verbal and non-verbal, draw people to a place where they think about God, or are we just another person that walks by.

Matthew 5:14-16
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
